Thank you, Nigel!
True, Spring is early (or should I say: there’s been no Winter –yet?), but these tulips are from the local supermarket, seven for next-to-nothing (bought by the wife, of course). When I saw them standing like this, on the breakfast table, I thought “Wow, these are AbsoluteFlowers! I must take a picture!”...

Artistry must run in the family: I did my best, of course, but rearranged nothing except moving the table lamp out of sight: as usual, I recorded just what was there...

Thanks, Sherry! It all came together: the colors, the combination of natural and artificial light... There weren’t even bread crumbs to spoil the effect! For once I was lucky...

I have a weak spot for tulips as well, this reminds me of a song,... I feel like the minstrel following "brave" Sir Robin, from Monty python and the holy grail saga. Soon an arrow will put an end to such musings.

In spite of the tulip being the National Flower of the Netherlands, I like Monty Python much better than tulips! (I’d love to photograph them!)
