From a Chinese toilet, at a remote truck stop in the middle of the Taklamakan Desert in China. It was snowing and -5° outside. Inside were supermarkets and food stalls to cater for the long distance travellers on these remote highways. It was busy. The approach to the toilets had painted murals of Silk Road history on its curving walls. An electronic board showed the number of male and female toilets and indicated how many were occupied, while abundant soap and warm water graced every hand basin. It was spotless. And free, of course, as are toilets in China, with attendant cleaners working all day long.
