One head or two?

Central Market in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. In the large food area, the stalls were filled with the smoke from hundreds of charcoal grills, and the steam of dozens of simmering cauldrons. This woman was selling various boiled and fried foodstuffs including some startled looking sheep heads.
Have a good day…and don’t lose your head!

Such a great candid shot Diana...........she looks like she's concentrating on something.

I'm not surprised the sheep's heads look startled. They certainly don't look appetising!!

Very well captured.

It's marvellous to see these places Diana'.. where many of us will never get to visit,.. Thank you for showing us,. BUT !!..... it might even be delicious but I think I'll give the sheep's head a wide swerve,. Btw. my mother had a U.K. cook book detailing ''Sheeps head broth'' I don't think we ever had any !,. Best Wishes to you - from Dj.

Diana Australis replied to David G Johnson:

Yes…food tastes have changed for us.. we are not compelled to use every scrap of an animal anymore as we have become wealthier. The heads are a wide swerve for me too…but once our forebears probably munched them enthusiastically!
Have a good day, Dj

It's not that easy not to lose the head while contemplating the startled looking sheep heads, but this shot of street life in that region is just brilliant!
Have a great week, dear Diana, and take good care. :) ♡ox
