Wars, large and small, seem to be an ongoing problem, and it's all very depressing, together with fake news courtesy of AI, and global warming. I'm so glad that I live in a relatively small community, even though the infra structure isn't very satisfactory. It all seems peaceful in this mountainous area, but who really knows.

I hate to say this but I have become to believe that "world peace" is a myth.............us humans seem determined to destroy each other and our planet. I can't see that changing anytime soon............I really hope I'm wrong :-((

Wonderful composition, the road and landscape leading the eye into the centre of the scene.

This magnificent, majestic landscape will still be here long after the human race has destroyed itself. Through greed, ignorance, racism and sheer stupidity, we seem to be determined bring about the end of our 'civilisation'. Who know, perhaps the planet will be a better without us.
