Oh my...this made my throat tighten up as I read it. I am SO glad the poor woman got her horse back! Carley almost lost her first horse, Remi. It jumped the fence and ran down the highway. Cars hat to stop and pull over to the side as a frantic Carley ran after her horse. The Highway Patrol (police) were called to help block traffic and help stop the horse. It could have been much worse.

These are both great. I think I like this one best, but only by a little bit.

I'm always fascinated by what horses find spooky. Wish I could get over my fears as quickly as some horses *smile*.

Diane Putnam replied to raingirl:

Haha - right! They are, to me, very puzzling animals. I prefer calmer, more human-oriented animals, like cats and dogs. Or at least ones not so powerful that they're hard to control!

raingirl replied to Diane Putnam:

I used to ride horses. I love them. But I completely understand the desire to be able to control the animal one is connecting with. I suppose that's one of the amazing things for me, that I could control such a powerful creature - that it would let me do such a thing.
