AMC Rambler Classic, 4-door, 1961

by Diane Putnam
This is the window of the ANC Rambler parts and restoration business in Klamath Falls. I think it's surprising that there are some people who spend a fortune restoring a Rambler!

Thank you, jeybee68, for identifying the model & year of this car.

My brother-in-law bought these as long as he could. I never understood why.

Diane Putnam replied to Ronald Losure:

Hahah - they were considered very un-cool when I was young and only old fuddy-duddies bought them. ;-)

Thank you, Ronald!

A totally unknown vehicle in Germany. According to the English Wikipedia this should be a 1961 Rambler Classic 4-door sedan. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rambler_Classic)

Diane Putnam replied to jeybee68:

Indeed it is, thank you for identifying it, jeybee! ;-) The Rambler wasn't very popular with younger people in the US and production stopped around 1968.
