Haha! Well, I admit that I like the one where Bear Grylls takes a celebrity to the wilderness and puts him/her through the wringer. Eating moss and grubs, sleeping suspended from the side of a cliff, things like that. I'm not sure that's even on, anymore. ;-b
I would rather watch this than most of the rubbish we get on Spanish TV on a Sunday! Most of it is bought on the cheap and that means American B movies. No, not even B movies, Z-- movies would be more like it! Even worse when oh-so-badly dubbed into Spanish. So bad, in fact, that they are almost amusing ... but not quite.
Oooh, sounds grim. I always thought that there was no television worse than American "Z" content. When I was in Italy, then in Japan, I couldn't believe how awful TV was! Visually, alone, it ranged from childish to bizarre. Content? Completely nuts. I suspect that British and American television is the best, but I shouldn't judge, since I haven't seen German, French or the Nordic countries. I like a balance of entertainment and documentary programs, so our Public Broadcasting is excellent, but BBC is the world's best!
