Great display of organic fruits and vegetables. I'm getting really hungry. I'm going inside to end the suffering.

polytropos replied to Damir:

When you are in paradise, do you think you still need a toilet? I always thought that is the definition of the paradise: you are liberated from all earthly problems! ;-))

Damir replied to polytropos:

of course, but I thought that organic vegetables were linked with the bible, as you said !

Diane Putnam replied to polytropos:

Yes, there will be toilets. Most people in paradise are old, and they are always looking for a toilet.

Diane Putnam replied to Damir:

When the Bible was written - over the course of hundreds of years and by hundreds of authors - there was mention of vegetables. However, they only had one kind: organic, so even though I have no idea what my point was going to be, yes, always buy a Bible when buying vegetables.

Somehow 'affordable organics' sounds about as vacuous as that oft-used term 'chemical-free'!

Diane Putnam replied to Andy Rodker:

I see what you mean. In this case, it's probably good, because poor people can't afford pesticide-free apples. Notice I didn't use "chemical-free," because that claim can't be made. Well, it is made by the wide-eyed, but that's because they don't know it's impossible.

OK, that's it, I've used my quota of hyphens for one comment. Also, I'm trying to cut down on digressions.
