Flash Gordon Intergalactic HQ

The first program I ever saw on our tiny-screen television: www.youtube.com/watch?v=ixgNtxpS354 I was only five, but I was determined to marry Flash Gordon. I mean, look at him!

Just a little creation for Smiley (Professor Retro)! ;-b

They are, and full of unintentional comedy. Thank you, Steve.

I was too young for them and wish they would show them again. I bet they would sound hilarious dubbed into Spanish!

Diane Putnam replied to Andy Rodker:

Oh, that would be fabulous! Youtube has a lot of episodes, maybe all of them. I think everyone should see at least a few. I'm not sure I could get my grandchildren to sit still for b&w with extremely dorky "special effects."

Andy Rodker replied to Diane Putnam:

Maybe they were too subversive for the Franco regime to be dubbed and shown in Spain!

Diane Putnam replied to Andy Rodker:

That sounds reasonable to me. Quite a bit of battling with authority, and so on. I haven't stopped thinking about Flash dubbed in Spanish. Someone has to do it. Really, it would he a scream in any language - it's hilarious enough in English!

Sorry, can't watch the video here in Switzerland. Somehow about copyright infringement they say.
But I can remember Flash Gordon even if I saw the series only a few time.

Andy Rodker replied to polytropos:

Can't watch it in Spain either, same reason!

Diane Putnam replied to Andy Rodker:

That's ridiculous! Happens here sometimes with European or Japanese Youtube, or videos embedded in news stories.
