I agree...but then I try to imagine how I must seem. Nutty old lady, slamming on her brakes, calling out of her car window...and that's just what the dogs think!
Well, guess I'll need to stop asking people walking dogs in the neighborhood "who is walking who" -- there is one tiny white dog who literally takes his Lady for a walk .. she has to hurry to keep up with that little one!
But, 'Don', a small black dog was walking his person this morn -- don't ask names of the humans.. don't remember them anyhow, but do remember the dogs names ! Go figure ~
The lady who lives behind me ? .. but her dog is named Bailey....
Hahaha! FUNNY! I never ask the person's name, if it's a stranger. The woman across from me used to get teased all the time when she'd take her cat for a walk. He's extra-big, maybe a Maine Coon mix. Jasper pulled so hard on his harness that he broke it, later escaped from another one, injured his shoulder another time, and broke the leash another. He literally pulled her down the sidewalk and I used to call him the neighborhood pit bull. He would scream at the screen door until she took him out. They were a hilarious pair. She finally quit walking him and he's now an all-indoor bruiser with a companion to keep him busy.
I find that animal names are more entertaining than people names.
