Most of them fall over. Blasting ocean wind is not conducive to lush growth. I lived in a very similar region below San Franciscio, called Half Moon Bay. There were very few trees in the town, most street trees were just tall shrubs and even those would get tipped over by wind if they got over 10' tall! I got used to that landscape and I now kind of like it.
Yes! Actually, they're all downtown shopping or working. You must know by now that I enjoy bleak shots. Or, maybe you're right and the people just run from me! Oh, wait, there's one little person at the end of the yellow building on the sidewalk. Whew!
Yes, all small towns are. Even medium towns are. ;-)
I suspect Europeans (and everyone else) think the whole USA looks exciting, like New York City and Los Angeles! Lol! Merci, Pat.
As I have to explain over and over again (not to you), this is how vast portions of the USA looks. This isn't extraordinarily quiet or plain or boring. ;-b However, it's unusually litter-free...the wind blows it all to Wyoming. lol!
At least there's no litter around.
But USA from the road's middle to the its edge only?! Urgently needs to be made great again ... at least from edge to edge ;-)
