Danger zone

See PiP. This is where I was when I turned to take the PiP shot, started to back up and remembered where I was standing! Sorry about the terrible light in these shots.

Trying hard to spot the danger here, Diane.
A tsunami approaching? No.
A visit by the D....d? Unlikely.
Invasion by N Korea? I doubt it.
Flying piranhas? Now I'm just being silly.
Nope! You'll just have to explain it to me!
Have a good weekend!

Diane Putnam replied to Andy Rodker:

This is where I was standing when I turned, then almost backed up to the edge. ;-o I guess I could have explained that in the first place! Thanks for your imagination, Andy. ;-)

Diane Putnam replied to Cheryl Beal:

Yes, they are very dark even when they aren't back-lit.

Nicely composed.............and the colour of the water is sublime!

I see what you mean by danger Diane...........I don't like heights very much, whereas Andy is a seasoned cliff-edge walker..!!

Diane Putnam replied to Keith Burton:

Haha - yes he is! I don't mind heights, it's the falling I don't like. Thank you, Keith!

Keith Burton replied to Diane Putnam:

Funnily enough............heights didn't used to bother me. I used to abseil and go up in helicopters etc. It wasn't until my hearing started to fail me that I started to get vertigo, so I wonder if it's something to do with my inner ear. I wear hearing aids full time now, but still hate heights.

They do say it's not the fall that kills you........it's the sudden stop at the bottom..!!

Diane Putnam replied to Keith Burton:

Hahaha - yeah, that bottom is the problem even for a dare-devil! Makes perfect sense to me that vertigo would make height undesirable.
