In the UK a cart is called a shopping trolley and can be seen all over towns and cities, dumped in streams and woods etc........or being used as a means of transporting drunken people home..!!

I did actually know what you call them, there! Thank you, Keith, glad you like it. Oh yes, they are everywhere here, too. In fact, the grocery stores have to hire a man with a truck to drive around and pick up the ones he finds. Every fall, the canals are drained, so there are several drowned, filthy carts to be retrieved! Then, there is the use as a homeless person's storage container...well, they are very handy for many purposes!
