Hotel shuttle bus, back of the hotel

Photo in the window of the Arcade Hotel, taken in the 1920s. The bus was used to pick up people from the train station. This once-prosperous lumber town was really buzzing then and there are many old hotels from that period. All are now either vacant or rooms are rented as SRO ("single room occupancy," meaning long term rental for one person, usually semi-transient men).
