Fabio
In September 2024, our long time club member Fabio passed away.
While Fabio photographed many different things, he loved photographing people. He came over to Ipernity from Panoramio sharing street scenes with lone people in them. He took touching portraits of the poorest and of the forgotten, most of them in his unique b/w. Everyday reality in general was his favourite subject. His love of the ‘l’heure bleue’ (blue hour) can be seen in many of his images and he even commented on that on his last photo with us. He was a kind , generous and caring man who had many contacts here with whom he shared a deep connection. Fabio ended his time here with us with a photo (Exit) whose title sounds now as a sad premonition of what would happen in a short time : his Exit from IP and unfortunately from this life.
A group in his honor remains open for contributions:

Below are some of his well loved photos and his last contribution.

Addio a te, nostro buon amico.
