Result of the editorial team voting from December 2023:
The number of submitters was 33 (previous month: 41).
In accordance with the selection rules (maximum of one picture per submitter and month, 50% of which will be are taken), 16 pictures could be included in the group. You will find them in the upper,
light blue section of the results display above.
In the
middle blue section, you see 1 multiple submission which the editorial team also considered promising, but which could not be included in the group because another picture by the same submitter was adopted.
These picture is welcome to be submitted again.
The lower,
dark blue section contains all submissions that could not be included in the group.

Note: This time, a number of images were submitted whose technical quality did not meet the minimum requirements (see What is a good photo?). As a result, only 33 submitters (instead of 39) could be accepted.
With regard to the external impact of the Ambassador Images, we ask that only images of at least good amateur quality be submitted (level 6 in this article: What is a noteworthy photo?).

It is good to remember that we only want stand out (very eye catching or very special in some way) images for this group. In the article that' Bernhard points to above, it says that the photos we want will
"arouse our curiosity by showing something unfamiliar or something familiar in a special way. They stimulate our imagination. They move us emotionally."
Keeping that in mind while voting is all you need to do.

I may be wrong, and my observation may provoke outrage, but on the whole I can trust my perception.
If this trend continues, I see no point in remaining in the group of noteworthy images, which I ask not to be taken as a threat.

Due to the growing number of weekly recurring themes, it is becoming increasingly difficult to find suitable images for the Ambassador group in the ipernity Gallery.
Personally, I am now switching to other options, but even these are rather limited due to the state of many groups. Still, it's worth it …
