so, is this an right example for the LANDSCAPE , as it has been said in the "group rules" of # New ipernity frontpage # ??
But it's a nice image ;-)

Maybe a misunderstanding, Belleuse.

"- - Landscape 1:1,778" refers to the landscape format = widescreen 16:9, which is often used in landscape photography with wide-angle lenses. You can also see this by reading the French and German translations of the rules of the group # New ipernity frontpage #.

And this widescreen format is just as suitable for other images as you can see, and is ideal for the most common monitors.

Thanks for your answer ! My question concerned the question of which subject of the photo is accepted. But thank you for your explanation about format. I understood this since the beginning and 2 days ago I sent to the group my photo with exactly this format 16:9.
But there are other conditions that have to be met, so for now I had to withdraw my photo. After more examples and new comments in this group , I haven't more questions now. I see that also another subjects will be accepted, and I'm glad about this. :-)

I had understood very well your question regarding image subjects that are accepted. ;)

What I'd like to make clear is that there is an error in thinking, if one believes that the English term "Landscape 1/1,778" (or "Landscape format 16/9") would only include landscape photographs.

However, I'm pleased that it has now become clear through more comments and practical examples in the group.
