still alive

It was a difficult week. Life is often unfair to those who do not deserve it. A dear friend of mine has kept me busy. But I'm still here.

Today some Irish again. The picture does fit to the storm "Xaver" who is raging outside. This was also a day on which no one send a dog out of the door (German saying).

What a cool image! A very cute image of this dog...I think you could have fun cropping this image for a more minimalist picture too! :D I'm glad you're doing ok, I'm sorry life is sending you challenges!

Wonderful shot indeed. Never heard such a saying before. But yes, once our dog itself refused to go out because it was raining so hard.

Such an evocative photo.

It was the worst storm surge in 60 years. Th lessons learned and the defences made because of 1952 .. held fast.... many lives were saved.

The English equivalent of the saying is " You wouldnt send a dog out in it ! "
