This small three-arched bridge you can see in the background (and on the PiP) is known as the "Roman Bridge" and is located on the ancient Roman road that runs from Jublains to Chartres. This road was built by the Roman army during the conquest of Gaul by the Romans and became a main military artery.

AIRE DE PIQUE-NIQUE AVEC VOISINAGE ANCIEN. Ce petit pont à trois arches que l'on voit au fond (et sur le PiP) est connu sous le nom de "pont romain". Il se trouve sur l'ancienne voie romaine qui passe de Jublains à Chartres est fût construite par l’armée romaine lors de la conquête de la Gaule par les Romains, pour devenir une artère militaire principale.

PICKNICKPLATZ MIT URALTER NACHBARSCHAFT. Diese kleine dreibogige Brücke, die man im Hintergrund (und auf dem PiP) sieht, ist als "römische Brücke" bekannt. Sie befindet sich an der alten Römerstrasse, die von Jublains nach Chartres führt; sie wurde von der römischen Armee während der Eroberung Galliens durch die Römer zu einer militärischen Hauptverkehrsader ausgebaut.
