Leur formation date de plus de 300 millions d’années. A l’origine, un magma volcanique, ce dernier s’est érodé et a sculpté les rochers en leur donnant des formes curieuses. CHAOTISCHES DURCHEINANDER AUS FELSEN... das ist es, was man von der Brücke vor dem Leuchtturm aus sieht (noch besser auf dem PiP). Entlang der Küste türmen sich rosafarbene Felsen, die manchmal eine erstaunliche Unausgeglichenheit aufweisen, und man fragt sich, wie diese Felsen das Gleichgewicht halten können ! Die Felsen sind vor über 300 Millionen Jahren entstanden. Ursprünglich war es vulkanisches Magma, das erodiert ist und sie in seltsame Formen geformt hat. Diese Stätte ist viel besucht : mehr als 1 Million Besucher pro Jahr.
