We are at Elvet Bridge over the River Wear in Durham City. A great day to go rowing and this is where they go from. The stone bridge is ancient, originally being built in the 12th century under Prince-Bishop Pudsey. This medieval stone structure features pointed arches and is a designated Grade I listed building.
