The Inverie River
A wonderful cystal clear freshwater river, running down into Inverie Bay in Loch Nevis. Flowing through a scenic, roadless wilderness it is a favourite river for sea trout and salmon. Given more time and effort and following the river upstream for 4.5 miles, I would eventually have come to its source at Loch an Dubh-lochain and the nearby peak of Luinne Bheinn at 939 m.

The undulating peaks make a wonderful backdrop and I also like the trees and the rock-strewn and stoney foreground. A nice hint of colour from the gorse as well. Definitely worth viewing large..!! ⭐️
Is that a cottage amongst the trees?
