A walk around Holkham Hall

Two hours were all we had here in these splendid grounds of this parkland. We are by the lake having just had our picnic. We see the splendid hall in the distance, our next venue. Alas time did not allow an internal view but it was closed anyway.

Well framed by the tree and its shadow! In this fine weather the grounds were a better option even if the hall had been open for visitors.

It's certainly sitting in beautiful surroundings. I especially like the light reflected on the surface of the water.

In actual fact it is not Keith but as you say, very much like one. A very nice short two hour stay here. The lake and small woodland were great and so I shall post those tomorrow too.
