Waiting

We are at the famous old Highland Glenfinnan railway station here. A station know by many as they travel through, to and from Mallaig and Fort William. Many will travel on the famous West Coast specials, mainly the Jacobite steam train but modern diesels also stop here. As can be seen from the background, this is one of our most scenic railway routes.

Herb Riddle replied to uwschu:

A great place and this little station on a short distance away from the viaduct is very welcoming.

Herb Riddle replied to TOZ:

A sleepy place except when the trains come through. I think they all stop here (not that there are that many during the winter months).

Cheers. Herb
