Down by the mill

Another look at Martham Mill on the River Thurne in Norfolk. Maybe this small boat is used to get the shopping for the occupiers.
This was described as a ‘drainage mill’ in our guide but it is now a prestigious holiday let. Surrounded by idyllic Broadland marshes and adjacent Hickling Broad where Nelson leaned to sail as a young man .
