A damp walk in prospect

A look down to the small hanging Lees Reservoir in the Ogeden/Paythorne range, not too far from my home. We had parked some few hundred metres before this spot and had already donned our waterproofs but as it happened this weather cleared up somewhat and even gave us some blue skies. Our walk led us far down to the Ogden reservoir before returning back here (around 7km). As can be seen, water levels are returning to normal.

A great place for a cardio-vascular exercise, as it is a good steep trek back up to the Rams Head pub where our car is parked. All in all, a favourite round walk, especially in Spring when it is blue-bell time.

The reservoir acted as a magnet for this capture as you can see Keith. I liked the traces of sun-beams too and was glad that they were captured on this. If we had only to wait for good weather for our walks we would be house-bound. Very happy that you liked it.
