Borage

Also known as Starflowers. We saw these whilst exploring the Botanic Gardens at Samarès Manor on Jersey. It is an annual herb and native to the Mediterranean region. Some parts of it are edible and its seeds contain oil.

I love borage.........they're so beautiful and as you show here, are also very photogenic. You've captured these perfectly with spot on focus and depth of field.

I'm no longer allowed to have these in the garden as their tiny hairs are an irritant on my wife's skin. I'm hoping to find some in one of our neighbours garden :-)

A cracking shot Herb..!! ⭐️

Herb Riddle replied to Keith Burton:

I cant recall seeing these before Keith. Would be nice in the garden and would probably grow OK in our ever warmer summers now. Not sure about the irritant though. Cheers for the star.
