It is official, the north west of Britain is in drought. A couple of days ago we took a walk around the Dovestone chain of reservoirs and saw for ourselves how bad things are. Here we get a new view of Dovestone reservoir itself from the memorial tree garden section and a new bench for me. You can also see my ‘One - Lone tree’ over to the right, getting quite old and big now and also Alderman’s Hill straight ahead.
The second reservoir in the chain ‘Yeoman Hey’ was almost empty.
The PiPs show the ‘One Tree’ in winter and another view of Dovestones taken on the same day as the main.
