Vienna ~ Maria-Theresien-Platz

Maria-Theresien-Platz is a large public square in Vienna, Austria, that joins the Ringstraße with the Museumsquartier, a museum of modern arts located in the former Imperial Stables but here we see the Natural history museum (Naturhistorisches Museum Wien). In here we can see amongst many other things a significant collection of dinosaur skeletons and meteorites in addition to a large display of insects.

Thanks Gudrun. We did not have the time to go into any of these fine buildings as we were doing a whistle stop walking tour (only my wife and I) around the whole of the Viennese centre. One can see a little of everything a lot of only a few. You can see what we did.
