Memories of Austria

No, not of my last trip to Austria only weeks ago but from way back in 1979. This taken in the Tirolean village of Söll whilst on a ski trip there. A slide conversion I think but I did have a large B&W version that I developed and printed too. This church is at the bottom of the Hohe Salve mountain near the village.

Why do I have a feeling that you went to Söll to Gordon? Yes, nature and man at its most harmonious here. My first ski holiday. I can't believe it is 46 years ago.

Sorry it looks dark on you screen Keith. It is a darkish scene with these pine trees and shadowed rocks. I have two different monitors here and it looks OK on bit but I think they are a both on the bright side too. Anyway, glad you still enjoyed it and yes fine memories here.

Thanks Peter. You are of course right. This was itself taken some many years back now and might have even been a photo of my original 20x16" mounted print? In either case, I am glad you liked it.
