Very dramatic. I was looking if this was today which brought me to a mill fire at Greenfield last week (below Dovestone). i missed reading about that one.

Ah Colin, you bring me news that I did not know about. We did see black smoke from that direction from our house window last Monday but did not know what it was. As we dont now take any local newspapers and don't listen to the latest local news radio either we are quite out of touch. -Fletchers Mill -a building we pass often on our way to and from Dovestones. My father once worked there too. I think most if not all was still empty/derelict now but they have built a fancy holiday park nearby. My photo was taken many years back and was of Dunkerly's Mill in Lees. Thanks for the call and info.

A golden oldie here from me Keith and it reminds me, sadly, of how little of this kind of shooting I do nowadays. One has to go that extra mile for these and as I get older it all seems like too much trouble. Of course, delighted that you enjoyed it.
