Along the way

A walk in the country can give us many things that reach our senses. Here we have a touch of summer with this old broken wall and a dead tree. The foxgloves gives us some colours to concentrate on but I am afraid you don’t have the sounds and smells to go with this scene. Sorry!

Hi Nick.

Sad news for you and us in Ipernity. It seems we are a family here and we care about such things. I do not really know Sarah but I feel for her loss. Please pass on my condolences.

Such a fabulous capture Herb.............and really well composed in lovely light.

The wild foxgloves look gorgeous amongst the greenery and the perfectly shaped dead tree sits atop the damaged wall very nicely............I suspect it was placed there deliberately (not by you of course)>

Sharp and detailed throughout.............brilliant work! ⭐️

Herb Riddle replied to Keith Burton:

Thanks again for another extravagant comment Keith. The tree looked quite natural to me but maybe some other keen photographer....

Great to see another star from you too. Cheers my friend.

Foxgloves defend their position in a floral battle of Rorke's Drift. Absolutely delicious composition. Herb.

Herb Riddle replied to Chris Bowness:

You might know Chris that we often don't see spectacular sights of our camera's but what I miss as a subject I try to make up in composition and light. I think maybe you are of the same mind!
