The barns and lines of Wensleydale

Back from a week at Leyburn in North west Yorkshire we see here a scene from near The Shawl at Leyburn. A sign of things to come as this is barn and drystone wall country. A complete change for us is walking in summer outfits as it is hot and bright.

Enjoy full screen.

I think Leyburn might still seem a leg away from you Gordon but if you get there you must do the Shawl. More photos of that to come :)

A beautiful landscape Herb. I like the light over the hills in the background and the lines in the field. The tree, bottom left anchors the frame very well.

Nice to see you getting some good weather on your trip!

Herb Riddle replied to Keith Burton:

Thanks Keith. A rare week of remarkable good weather for us. Not the most atmospheric photographically but such a change after months of damp grey. Glad you liked this one with its lines and tree.

Makes for a great change. I think you will get a lot of grey up in your area too. Glad you liked this one.
