Loch Lochy splendour.

Between Fort William and Loch Ness there are two other Lochs: Loch Oich and Loch Lochy. This is the larger of the two, Loch Lochy with its most splendid reflections to the North West in this case. The two photo panorama was taken at the popular viewpoint stop at Letter Finlay.

"Loch Lochy is a large freshwater loch in Lochaber, Highland, Scotland. It is 15km (9 miles) long with an average width of 1km and a mean depth of 70 m (230ft), it is the third-deepest loch of Scotland." WiKi

Cheers Gordon. I was not sure if it was good enough for the CWP but its a new photo so I thought I would five it a go. (The thought of my Lake Louise shot felt like cheating! )

Thanks Lothar. This is not far from Ben Nevis at all. There were no mosquitoes on this visit for us (fortunately). Glad this brought back memories and that you enjoyed it.

This is just lovely Herb...............perfectly composed in gorgeous sunshine, with amazing reflections. I love the symmetry!

Wonderful that you have enjoyed these reflections and the symmetry. My entry for this month CWP theme which I picked and so thought I should have something decent! Your score gives me hope.
