A Loch Carron walk

Today was to be an exciting one with a walk along this Loch to Duncraig Castle and then on to the village of Plockton and beyond. As per usual, the weather started poor but we had high hopes for better to come. Our path goes along the top of the small wall on our right here and the village will come into view on our left shortly.
The peak is ‘Carn a Bhealaich Mhoir’ at 343metres.

Herb Riddle replied to TOZ:

Yes this was a great walk with trees on one side and the Loch on the other with occasional views like this too. One of my favourite area's and that is for sure.

Cheers for the gold star.

Keep well. Herb

Another typically Scottish landscape Herb.....................the light is beautiful and I love the mountainous backdrop. The trees look magnificent and I like the yellow of the gorse bushes.

Just gorgeous..!!

Herb Riddle replied to Keith Burton:

Yes, very typical I guess Keith. The backdrop really makes the difference here. I too loved the yellows of the gorse which were everywhere here.

Cheers. Herb
