Herb Riddle / Photos

A Derbyshire landscape

This was the view from in front of our holiday cottage near Earl Sterndale. Each day this view would greet us but mainly it was dull rainy weather but on this occasion the Gods were with us. I am nearly sure that the spiked hill on the left is Chrome Hill with Parkhouse Hill on the right but don’t quote me :)

Beautifully composed Herb.............I love the light in the top half of the image, which brings out the superb detail in the hills and ridges and I also like the slightly darker (but no less beautiful) bottom half.

How lovely to see this view changing each day! A superb shot........definitely worth viewing large!

A brilliant view Herb,, and capture,, I returned for another look,. Maps do show Chrome hill as on the left,, and I think Parkhouse is the centre one.. can't find a name for the hill right of picture, no doubt it'll be on Ordnance maps etc. // Dj.
