Übrigens war mein Einstieg damals die Olympus E-420, nutzt heute noch ein Kollege von mir, nachdem ich schnell auf Nikon gewechselt bin

Thanks Uwe, I loved my Olympus E-410. Its two kit lenses where both suburb also very light and small. I too a lot of very nice photos with that until I tried to clean the mirror and scratched it. The rest is history, Glad you liked the colours here.

I love your composition here Herb............especially your use of leading lines. A lovely hazy blue sky with a hint of pink and a solitary little cloud. The background hills are just beautiful.

The frost in the foreground is pretty much the only clue as to how cold it was when you took the shot.

You might know Keith, that when I take the majority of my photos, I spend a little time to compose the shot. P.O.V, light and any lines all come into play with the super computer we call our brain. Glad this all appeared to have worked out in your eyes. I remember it being very cold!
