It has such beautiful bark Herb and the square composition suits it perfectly, with the winter branches filling the shot against the lovely blue sky. I expect you can tell, I like it loads :-))

We can see why its called the 'Silver' birch Rosa, it simply glows in such conditions. I always did like this and have only seen the same kind of frost a couple of times since -once in Chester. Great that you 'like it loads'. it puts a smile on my face.
