Down on the canal at Diggle

An autumnal view of the Huddersfield Narrow Canal near the Saddleworth village of Diggle. We are approaching bridge No.68 with its lock just behind it and a little further the very popular Grandpa Greene's canal side café. Some few hundred yards beyond that, the long deep Standedge Tunnel.
Yes Autumn has arrived -this morning we have our first frost.

Glad you liked it Dave. Another golden weather day today but as like most Sundays nowadays I am mostly indoors. Yes, that café is very popular as it sells speciality ice-creams too. Been a while since we sat in one of the heated pods drinking coffee there.

No ground frost here yet......but my windscreen was frozen this morning, so I think autumn has arrived properly now!
