Yes the lighting here on the mist gives it an ethereal flavour not unlike some of the paintings that I see in my books etc. Glad you liked it.

I also agree about the painterly effect Herb................and I love the composition too. The hazy sunshine and sea mist have given this scene a wonderful atmosphere.

Nice wave action and an interesting foreground too.
