The Langdale Pikes
A golden oldie should be seen now and again and so here is one of my 2016 captures previously in Panoramio.
Our English Lake District shown at its most dramatic here from near Elterwater. Of course for me the late sun hitting the rocks complimented by snow on the distant peak of the distant peak is pure magic.
We see here: Harrison Stickle with the snow then Loft Crag, Pavey Ark and Pike o’ Stickle
Have a great day.

The sky is amazing and the light, especially on the peaks is gorgeous and the landscape is a fantastic combination of dark and moody and wonderfully beautiful.
Best viewed large to get the best of the detail!
