Common Gorse, detail

A close up of part of a large Gorse shrub (Ulex europaeus) spine, seen on a local walk. These always look good with their bright sunny yellow petals. Since winter is approaching this plant is now finishing and the petals are turning brown making for nice blend of colours here along with the greens.

A lovely capture Herb depending where you live also known as Furze some ordinance survey maps call it that, it rarely stops flowing hence the old saying When gorse is out of bloom kissing is out of season

I am glad you managed to see this one Keith. One of your kind of photos for sure. That 70-200 zoom and its 105mm brother are very good for this type of shot. Very happy that you enjoyed it with this Bocca background.
