Helix Nebula in S Ha O NGC 7293

Helix Nebula NGC7293- You are right they are watching US.

Helix Nebula in HaOO

This is 2025 data and 2026 data added to gether stacked then came the edit. So astro is very easy so to prove it this is made up of

Ha 47h 2025/2026 made up of 300 sec,120sec and 600 sec.
O 14h 2025/2026 made up of 300 sec and 120 sec.
S 18h 2026 made up of 300 sec.

Its lucky this was done with a rotator so they all fitted together perfectly. This is a 4 hour stack which is almost un heard of due to the huge number of files. This goes to prove that I am able to revisit and add to the old data.

S made the red stand out even more which is very faint in any shots only without a lot of shots to bring out the areas. One of the other factors I was worried about 2025 was shot -10c and 2026 was shot 0C but there seemed very little extra noise in th shots . Enjoy two years worth of work and about 1 hours worth of editing . Back into rains.

Steve Paxton replied to tiabunna:

The mix of shots or mix of exposures HDR almost. The way to balance out the very bright and dim parts. It was simple but for the collection of the data its not two shot wonder. Many thanks
