The Emu Watching over us.

Well before the moon came up I saw this shot while I was on my own out in the landscape. The Emu in the Milky Way looking down at us as the milky way comes up on the Sagittarius Arm. This was only ever a TWO shot panorama more of the Sky than the ground but not forgetting the ground Lit by Low Level Lighting. Enjoy 1 am in the morning in the Black of night and the stars shining in the sky above.

This is how I like the Milkyway

Steve Paxton replied to Ko Hummel:

Ko I fully understand I love a straight up shot as well. This had to be two shots to get the whole milky way in. I am dead against "putting the sky in" any where you like cause you know how to use editing programs nothing real in that. This is straight out of the camera as taken and planned.

I love your photos... and you have the right gear too. I took some with my Leica but of course in my own possibilities.
