The Big Sundial

This is out on the coast and as you can see a nice fine very cold day. As a matter of interest my Watch said 10:50am so I went over to the right side to check the time on this very ancient idea of a clock 10:50 am so have we got better or are we still the same no matter what. I personally like the idea of a Sundial but its just a little hard to carry around with you.

Well worth a read below...

Steve Paxton replied to Sarah O':

It is and made more interesting when you read the two flat bit of Stainless steel you can work out the between minutes as well by the wavy lines on the ground that match the one on the steel. We Still are the same we love to tell time.. Many thanks.

Steve Paxton replied to tiabunna:

When you think it can even tell you down to the minuet when you follow the pattern on the steel to the ground it will tell you if it is 10:53 am not just 10:50am. Not a clock you want to carry with you any where.... but great to see it still worked perfectly.
