Small Sagittarius Star Cloud M24 and IC 1248

This has always fascinated me on Stellarium as its just white field of Stars. I was a bit surprised to see the colours when I took the stars away. So with that in Mind I left the stars as they where there is no reduction at all but there is a lot behind you cant see.

Steve Paxton replied to Herb Riddle:

There certainly is and you can see why you remove the stars to adjust the nebulosity at the back leaving the stars just as they are even colour wise. Its been a long trip but at this point a very enjoyable one. I have the small rig for a while yet there is still work to be done on the focuser so I am still waiting.

Steve Paxton replied to Chris Bowness:

That what I like about space you never know just what you are going to get the milky way has so many stars it blankets the details in the Nebula. Many thanks glad you find these interesting.
