NGC1763 Small part of Large Magellanic cloud I have never shot before.

This may look like one shot but in fact is 4 shot panorama of the area. The main reason for the shot was to see the big star middle top and its difraction spikes from the new solid spider.

I had to retake flats as the first stack when I looked at the shot looked like Checkerboard. Flats are uses to remove lens faults and dust. if you look at the pip you can see just what I mean.

StarReducedFull pano-2

I am finally happy that I can use the Telescope with out not fully understanding it. I look forward to getting just images not trials...

I can finally feel comfortable with this telescope focus has remained at same point give or take a little which indicates it still in the same place nothing has moved. In part from the solid spider and getting the right info on how to set the mirrors up. Many thanks hope your week goes well.

In these days of ever more impressive images from the distant Web telescope, I must admit to yours looking almost as impressive. Your patience and hard work has certainly paid off and now maybe, you can stop your constant test and just enjoy the Universe. Its hard for me and probably many others to comment on the technical aspects and accuracy you demonstrate with an array of tools and lenses. We can only hear what you say and enjoy what we see. Very well done.

Here is one of my stars! ⭐

Cheers. Herb
