Lobster Nebula NGC 6357

Very Close to the Cats Paw Nebula is the Lobster Nebula. This was more a trial to sort out guiding and the spacer rings added to the train to see how they all worked. the rest of the night was given to the Lobster.

Steve Paxton replied to Diana Australis:

Diana Thank you I hope you get to look at the shot of the milky way bow where all these shots come from in the sky. Its a lot of work but the end results make it all the worth while.

Steve Paxton replied to Erika+Manfred:

Truly thank you As a child my head was in the stars this takes it to a whole different level. I am happy to be at least one of the few that can bring this to life in the sky and on here. any one who turn to the night sky like this has a huge learning curve to go through.

Steve Paxton replied to Nick Weall:

If you saw the shot that this came from you would even wounder why you bother . PixInsight brings it all to life. I am starting to enjoy this immensely as it all starting to fall in to place. while I know these shots are not for every one as most don't really understand just what they are looking at

Steve Paxton replied to tiabunna:

Thank you its starting to take shape and the enjoying part of getting results like I have always wanted. you can be sure more will follow just got to ditch the clouds and rains. this has always been part of what I wanted to do getting deep space with some quality of shot .

tonight the very last part of this huge puzzle fell into place with a cable I had to order from UK of all places.
