Rainbow Lorikeet

These trees are over our back fence and add to that its blowing very strongly. I dont think the bird could hear the camera all past attempts they have flown away.

The birds spent most of there time under the branches I am just glad this one came out from underneath. true to life shot.

We've seen these birds in Australia. In the evening they gathered, made a lot of noise, and after a short time they slept very quietly in the trees. Very nice experience for us

these are not WA birds but come from the Eastern states, so yes you will know the well. very noisy birds.

I have to Say I think the wind and the very Quiet shutter on the D810, i have never got as many shot on a still day.

And the very same here as well BUT way late they have have made it home, I think the wind and the Quiet shutter on the D810 got me through this lot . It was still 100 shots while the two of them walked the Flowers within the tree.
