New Growth : Wild grown Grevillea vestita vestita | Byfield Spider Flower

All the Red-brown leaves are all the new growth , the plant is very much alive. The wire holding that plant to the pot has been removed the tree is very much at home.

Steve Paxton replied to neira-Dan:

Very much the way the plants are in WA , most with spikes and leathery leaves.

Steve Paxton replied to David G Johnson:

It give me a very good feeling that I can bring the leaf size down in the passing of time. The new leaves are very soft no hard spikes will have to wait and see if they remain that way or harden off. Its very interesting to see how the natives react to the bonsai process, this one grew on its own like a bonsai sitting on the smooth rock surface. certainly is a quite a few years old I have walked past in for the last 6 years and has been the same.
